Look East PR Promotes Beck and te Plate-Church 

Roxi Beck is the new president of Look East, a public relations and strategic communications firm that helps its clients in food and agriculture earn trust. Beck, who previously served in the role of vice president, joined Look East in 2007 and has received industry-wide recognition for her leadership and strategic insight.

“Roxi is a trusted advisor to food system thought leaders and helps them think differently about how they engage their stakeholders to build trust,” said Charlie Arnot, Look East founder and CEO.

In her new position, Beck will continue to lead Look East’s client-facing teams and play a growing role in the company’s long-term strategy.

Beck received bachelor’s degrees in psychology and public relations from Coe College. She serves on the board for Iowa State University’s Agricultural Entrepreneurship Initiative, is a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, and is past-president of the National Agri-Marketing Association’s Iowa Chapter. In 2016 Beck was one of food Processing’s Kick-Ass Women in the food and Beverage Industry.

In addition, Amy te Plate-Church has been promoted to vice president of Look East. Her experience in farming and food production spans more than three decades. She joined Look East in 2015 following a lengthy career in the dairy and livestock genetics industry and leads client work focused on issues including sustainability, social responsibility, acceptance of innovation and animal well-being.

“Over the past seven years, Amy’s experience, attention to detail and leadership have served our clients well and help us grow,” said Arnot.
