Raised in the agriculture industry, B. Lynn Gordon is an enthusiastic ag advocate who brings communications, marketing, and leadership development experiences to the table.
Her career path has included working within University Extension, the Nebraska Department of Agriculture and as editor of two national beef cattle publications. Additionally, with a Ph.D. in leadership studies, Lynn previously served as a South Dakota State University faculty member teaching agricultural leadership, and she is a certified leadership trainer. Raised on a beef cattle and grain farm in Manitoba, Canada, Lynn’s passion for agriculture was shaped through 4-H and Junior Hereford and Angus Association involvement. She has been a recognized agricultural writer for 25 years and earned the Ambassador Award from the Beef Improvement Federation in 2022.
Lynn enjoys photography, visiting with friends and extended family at livestock shows, and travel, especially to international agriculture industry events.
