Susan Wallace

Content Manager

Susan loves nothing more than a good story. She helps clients tell their unique story – whether that’s about soil health, food packaging or meat processing – in a way that is authentic, clear and engaging.

Through thought leadership, websites, social media, newsletters, webinars and more, she works with Look East clients to develop and deploy communication strategies that connect with their most important audiences. She enjoys managing complex projects and seeing how the pieces come together to yield results for our clients.

Susan’s interest in stories began on the family farm in Northwest Missouri, where the TV antenna only picked up one channel, but the shelves overflowed with books. Her favorite authors were Janette Oke, Zane Grey and Louis L’Amour, who provided an escape once the farm and garden chores were complete. Lessons learned on hot summer days in the hay field – teamwork, doing a job right the first time and sticking with a chore until it’s done – have proven valuable throughout her career.

Susan and her husband recently moved to a small acreage and are enjoying life where the roads are paved with gravel. They get a few more channels now, but her love for books persists.
