Donna Moenning has three decades of professional experience in food and agriculture communications including coaching, training, speaking events, broadcast, reporting and leadership roles. From consumer focus groups to strategic planning, Donna is known for her insights on consumer confidence in food and agriculture communications. She believes all effective communication begins with understanding your audience.
For Donna, the most enjoyable part of speaking and training are the outcomes people experience in their communication efforts. “It is rewarding when others are empowered to overcome a communication obstacle and experience success because of training I have provided or a presentation I have shared.”
Donna received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Journalism from South Dakota State University, in Brookings, SD and was named outstanding alumnus in journalism in 1995. She has spoken to food system stakeholders in more than 35 states and Canada. Donna is an FFA Alumna and volunteer and has served on the Minnesota FFA Foundation Board. Her professional experiences have been strongly influenced by her personal roots of living on a crop and livestock farm in Minnesota.
